Israeli occupation forces demolished six Palestinian-owned houses and a sheep barn in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Coordinator of the Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements in South Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, told WAFA that the occupation forces demolished six tin dwellings and a sheep barn, in the village of Shaab al-Batam, east of Yatta, belonging to citizens Ishaq Mahmoud al-Jabarin and Ibrahim Jibreen al-Jabareen, and housing approximately 20 people. People were left out in the open after their homes were demolished.

Al-Jabour added that the aim of the demolition is to expand the illegal Israeli settlement of Avigal adjacent to the village, which was built on citizens’ lands and property south of Hebron.

He called on human rights, national and international institutions to intervene immediately and urgently to put an end to these barbaric practices that aim to deport citizens from their lands and prevent them from raising livestock.
