The Israeli occupation forces tonight withdrew from inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, after storming it at dawn today, while maintaining a siege on the hospital, according to WAFA correspondent reporting from inside Al-Shifa Complex. He said that the occupation forces had completely withdrawn from inside all of the hospital’s buildings and courtyards, but their tanks and snipers remained deployed on the surrounding buildings, in addition to the drones constantly flying overhead. The Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Shifa Medical Complex at dawn today after besieging it for the sixth day in a row. WAFA correspondent pointed out that the occupation forces had stormed the new surgical building and the emergency building where patients and medical staff were present, and searched the buildings in the complex, in addition to other departments. He said that the raids on the hospital departments were carried out gradually and that the occupation army blew up the doors between the departmen
ts while ordering all those in the medical complex to gather at the center of its eastern courtyard. WAFA correspondent said the occupation tanks were still stationed in the vicinity of the complex, and bombed areas near it with several shells, tightening the stifling siege on it. Medical sources said the occupation army placed facial recognition cameras and electronic gates in the hospital courtyard, forced displaced people to take off their clothes and detained them, while interrogating doctors, patients and displaced people. In addition, the occupation forces arrested a number of displaced persons and families of those killed and wounded who were inside the hospital, interrogated and tortured them, and detained them for several hours in the yards. They are also still preventing the administration from burying the dead who remain in the yards.
