GAZA: At least seven people were killed this afternoon in Israeli artillery shelling and airstrikes launched against the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that five scorched bodies arrived at Nasser Hospital after an Israeli bombardment of al-Qedra Street in the city.
Also in Khan Yunis, a citizen and his daughter were killed and others from the Ghannam family were injured after the occupation forces ran over a caravan they were inside.
The occupation also bulldozed at least 40 homes belonging to the al-Aqqad family to the west of Khan Yunis.
Sources said that citizens were forced to bury 40 people who were killed earlier today in a mass grave in the courtyard of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces also stormed Al-Khair Hospital, west of Khan Yunis, and detained the medical staff, the injured and patients inside.

In the northern Gaza Strip, two citizens were killed and others were injured after the Israeli occupation forces targeted a gathering of citizens in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with artillery shells.
At least one citizen was reported dead and three others were injured after forces targeted a group of citizens in the Tal al-Zaatar area of Jabalia Refugee Camp, North of the Gaza Strip.
The death toll since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 of last year has risen to about 25,300 people, with 63,000 injured, the majority of whom are women and children. In addition, thousands of people were reported missing.
