Israeli repression units carried out a raid into the cell of Palestinian detainee Jamal Rajoub from the city of Dura, south of Hebron, in Raymon Israeli prison, and severely beat him, and transferred him to an unknown destination, without knowing any details about his whereabouts.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said in a statement on Tuesday that the repression forces continue to escalate torture and abuse against detainees, using all types of weapons, including police dogs, as torture operations reached their peak after October 7.

Detainee Rajoub, 57, is one of hundreds of detainees who were subjected to torture and abusive treatement namely in Megiddo, Negev, Gilboa, and Ofer prisons.

Rajoub has been detained since 2002 and has been sentenced to life imprisonment. He is previously wounded and suffers from many health problems.
