Israeli soldiers attack funeral procession of Palestinians, injuries reported

A Palestinian youth was shot and injured with live ammunition and dozens of others suffocated as Israeli forces attacked the funeral procession of a Palestinian resident in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, according to WAFA correspondent. Yousef Abu Maria, the spokesman of the Beit Ommar Popular Committee, said Israeli forces attacked mourners while they were heading to the cemetery located at the town's main street to bury the deceased. A youth was shot and injured with live fire in the arm and finders. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where his condition was described as moderate. Dozens of others were treated at the scene from tear gas suffocation. Confrontations reportedly broke out to the east of the town in the aftermath of the soldiers' attack on the funeral
