Italy and Morocco Establish Permanent Legal-Economic Forum


Rovigo:The Italy-Morocco Permanent Legal and Economic Forum was officially inaugurated in Rovigo, northern Italy, marking a significant collaboration between the two nations. The forum attracted institutional delegations, legal experts, and business leaders from both countries.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the forum is designed to create a stable platform for dialogue in strategic areas, including skilled mobility across the Mediterranean and vocational training in the countries of origin. The forum’s president, Kaoutar Badrane, emphasized the project’s theme, “Skills, a Bridge between Italy and Morocco,” highlighting its ambitious goals.



Deputy Prosecutor at the Venice Public Prosecutor’s Office, Sonia Sommacal, praised the forum’s structured program, which aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation beyond legal and economic fields.



Morocco’s Consul General in Verona, Hasnae Halim, noted that the establishment of this forum showcases the mutual commitment to fostering strong institutional ties in the legal and economic sectors. Italian Senator Bartolomeo Amidei also expressed support, recognizing the initiative as a step towards enhancing cooperation based on mutual respect.



The launch event was well-attended by legal experts and notable figures from both countries, reflecting the broad interest and support for this initiative.
