Rabat: A Jordanian delegation, led by Ziad Suleiman Al-Adwan, Vice-President of the Prefecture, is currently in Rabat to explore Morocco’s model of decentralization. As part of their agenda, the delegation held a meeting on Tuesday with the President of the Rabat-Sal©-Kenitra Regional Council.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during the meeting, Al-Adwan highlighted the constructive cooperation between Jordan and Morocco, emphasizing their mutual interest in strengthening the strategic partnership, especially in local administration and the development of decentralized action. Al-Adwan described the meeting as a platform for dialogue and exchange, which opens up opportunities for collaboration between Moroccan and Jordanian institutions.
The collaboration aims to enhance good governance, broaden citizen participation, and support sustainable and inclusive development. The Jordanian delegation’s itinerary includes visits to the inter-municipal cooperation institution “Al Assima,” the Rabat Region Development Company, and key historical and tourist sites in Rabat.
