King Mohammed VI Endorses Trump’s Gaza Reconstruction Actions, Urges Genuine Peace Efforts


Washington: His Majesty King Mohammed VI has expressed support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiatives aimed at reconstructing Gaza and has called for a comprehensive peace process in the Middle East. This was announced by Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, during a speech on Thursday in Washington, D.C.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Minister spoke at the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace, where he highlighted the achievements of President Trump’s Plan for Peace in Gaza. The plan has resulted in a ceasefire, brought an end to a destructive conflict, saved numerous lives, and introduced a practical and forward-thinking strategy for Gaza’s reconstruction.

Bourita stated that under the High Instructions of His Majesty the King, who chairs the Al-Quds Committee, Morocco is dedicated to supporting the Board of Peace’s efforts in Gaza. This support focuses on areas such as security, health, and promoting tolerance and coexisten
ce.

The Minister also pointed out the importance of fulfilling the conditions of Phase II of President Trump’s Plan to enhance the peace efforts. He stressed the need for maintaining stability in the West Bank and empowering Palestinians through their legitimate institutions.

Bourita added that stabilizing and reconstructing Gaza is essential for initiating a genuine peace process centered on the two-state solution.

The Board of Peace’s inaugural meeting was presided over by President Donald Trump and was attended by U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and leaders from nearly fifty countries.
