Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan, Labour Minister, met Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Balooshi, Bahrain Trust Foundation’s (BTF) Board of Trustees Chairperson, Dr. Jamila Al Sadoun, Da Vinci Training Director, and Sadiq Abdul Rasoul, HOMIEZ Digital Executive Director.
Humaidan praised the projects presented by civil society and training institutions to develop and encourage Bahraini talent in line with the requirements of the labour market. He pointed out that the government focuses on vocational training, which increases job opportunities for citizens and makes them the first choice in labour market.
The Labour Minister was briefed on the projects and initiatives implemented by Bahrain Trust Foundation and Da Vinci Training which target graduates of arts and design programmes.
The projects aimed at enhancing graduates’ technical skills and training owners of commercial art projects who seek to obtain job opportunities in their specialisations.
The training extended for four months and consisted of 20 specialised workshops in managing exhibitions and artistic symposiums, graphic design, marketing artwork, various skills in fine arts, and art teaching methods.
Dr. Al Balooshi praised the ministry’s role and Tamkeen in supporting BTF, stressing that it will continue to launch programmes and support national efforts.
