BEIRUT: The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the aggressive Israeli plans to invade the city of Rafah in continuation of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, and the forced displacement of Palestinians. In a statement issued today, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities by adopting a decision for an immediate ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, leading to the recognition of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions, in accordance with With the principles of international law.
