On this occasion, Mr. Talbi Alami highlighted the depth of the historical Morocco-Poland ties and expressed the esteem of the House of Representatives for the position of Warsaw in the various international fora in favor of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Lower House said in a statement.

He underscored the importance of consolidating the bilateral and multilateral parliamentary ties in advancing the Morocco-Poland links.

The talks were also an opportunity for the Speaker of the House to give an overview of the achievements made by the Kingdom during the past two decades, noting specifically the political, economic, social, institutional, and human rights reforms carried out by Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

For his part, the Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Tomasz Grodzki, expressed pride in the deep bilateral ties linking the two countries.

He noted that his country considers the Kingdom of Morocco the most stable country in the region and that it is a model for accelerating development and consolidated reforms, the statement added.

The Polish official and the delegation accompanying him underlined the importance of continuous parliamentary communication and the economic and commercial ties, which have been consolidated in recent years through the visits exchanged between the two countries’ business communities.

The Kingdom of Morocco occupies the first position regarding the commercial exchange operations with Poland and is the favorite destination for Polish tourists, given the very positive image they have of the Kingdom of Morocco, they pointed out.

The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange views on several questions inscribed as priorities on the bilateral and multilateral parliamentary agenda.
