MDS Party Offers Support to New Government in Morocco

Rabat:The Democratic and Social Movement (MDS) Party, led by Secretary-General Abdessamad Archane, has expressed its readiness to support the new government initiative in Morocco.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Archane made this statement on Thursday following discussions with Head of Government-designate El Mansouri in Rabat. These talks were part of a series of consultations with various political parties regarding the formation of the new cabinet.

Archane highlighted the importance of addressing current social challenges, particularly the need to bolster citizens’ purchasing power and maintain existing accomplishments. He emphasized that the success of the new government would benefit the entire nation and its citizens.

The meeting also served as an occasion to congratulate El Mansouri on the High Royal Trust endowed upon her, marking a significant milestone with the appointment of a woman as head of government, which Archane described as an honor for Moroccan women.

Representatives from the Authenticity and Modernity Party, including Abdellatif Ouahbi, Fouzi Lekjaa, and Ahmed Akhchichine, joined the discussions, along with Mahmoud Archane and Fatiha Lahjouji from the MDS.
