Moroccan and Italian Justice Ministers Discuss Strengthening Judicial Cooperation


Rabat: Moroccan and Italian justice ministers met to discuss strategies for enhancing judicial cooperation between their countries. During the meeting, they evaluated the outcomes of their current judicial collaboration and explored ways to solidify their partnership by enhancing bilateral coordination channels.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Carlo Nordio, the Italian Justice Minister, expressed his appreciation for the mutual trust and cooperation that exists between Italy and Morocco. He emphasized Italy’s commitment to further strengthening this cooperation, particularly in the field of justice. Nordio highlighted the meeting as a testament to the deep friendship and robust collaboration between the two nations, noting their shared history and common interests.



Abdellatif Ouahbi, the Moroccan Justice Minister, lauded the strong relations between Morocco and Italy across various sectors. He noted that the discussions were conducted with clarity and transparency, addressing several common issues. Ouahbi also advocated for a further strengthening of the partnership in the coming months, acknowledging Italy’s support for Morocco on numerous matters.
