New york: Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita engaged in a series of diplomatic meetings during the 80th United Nations General Assembly. Bourita’s agenda included discussions with several key international figures, focusing on enhancing bilateral ties and exploring cooperation across various sectors.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Bourita’s diplomatic engagements included talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Pr©vot. He also met with Ayman Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, to discuss mutual interests and strengthen partnerships.
Bourita further convened with Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF). These meetings served as a platform to address regional and international issues of common interest, as well as to coordinate positions within various international bodies.
