Rabat: A heat wave with temperatures ranging from 40°C to 45°C is expected to affect several provinces across the Kingdom from Tuesday to Friday, according to an orange-level weather alert issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, temperatures of 43-45°C are forecast in the provinces of Zagora, Tata, Es-Semara, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, and Aousserd. Meanwhile, temperatures ranging from 40°C to 43°C will affect the provinces of Youssoufia, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Errachidia, Khenifra, Boulemane, Chichaoua, Guercif, Taounate, Taza, Taroudant, Tinghir, Khouribga, Settat, El Kelaa Sraghna, Marrakech, Rehamna, Figuig, Jerada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, and Guelmim, the DGM said.
