Morocco, Albania To Bolster Industrial Cooperation


Rabat: The Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, held talks on Monday in Rabat with Igli Hasani, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, focusing on ways to promote industrial cooperation between the two nations.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the discussions centered on strengthening exchanges and fostering bilateral cooperation, particularly within the industrial sector. Both parties explored the dynamics of trade exchanges and discussed actions necessary to enhance them, emphasizing the promising prospects in the economic and industrial sectors shared by Morocco and Albania.



Following the meeting, Minister Hasani addressed the press, underscoring the importance of the industrial sector in fortifying bilateral relations. He emphasized the strategic role that the sector plays in bridging economic and institutional actors from both countries. Minister Mezzour highlighted Albania’s strategic location in Europe, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea and nestled between Greece and Montenegro. He pointed out Albania’s strong potential in tourism, industry, and trade.



Mezzour noted that this meeting represents the beginning of a series of exchanges between economic stakeholders, with the goal of strengthening ties between Morocco and Albania, which he referred to as brotherly countries.
