Rabat: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, engaged in discussions on Monday in Rabat with Igli Hasani, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, who is on an official visit to Morocco from March 1 to 4. During the meeting, the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, including the exchange of visits and sharing of expertise, was emphasized as a means to strengthen bilateral relations, according to a press release from the Upper House.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, both officials accentuated the necessity of utilizing all available constitutional and legal frameworks to innovate platforms for bilateral dialogue and communication. They also called for enhanced coordination within regional and international parliamentary forums while maintaining mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and avoiding interference in internal affairs.

In this context, the two parties highlighted the significance of bolstering both bilateral and multilateral relations. They lauded the strong and historic ties between Morocco and Albania, which are based on mutual respect, friendship, and cooperation.
