Washington: Under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Morocco is being recognized for its role as a “pillar of stability, moderation” in a complex region, as affirmed by a senior U.S. official during a gathering at the U.S. Congress. The event, held on Tuesday evening, celebrated the historical relations and strategic partnership between Rabat and Washington.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the White House official, Atallah, highlighted the deepened partnership between Morocco and the United States, emphasizing their cooperation in areas including security, economic development, and regional cooperation. He noted Morocco’s reliability and professionalism in addressing challenges, stressing that the relationship is built on trust and shared responsibility rather than convenience.

It gathered over 200 guests, including political dignitaries, senators, congressmen, military officials, diplomats, and members of the Moroccan community in the United States.
The high-level attendance underscored the support Morocco enjoys among American decision-makers across political affiliations, showcasing the exceptional partnership between Rabat and Washington. This relationship is seen as a model of effective relations structured around a clear vision and unwavering commitment.
Several Republican and Democratic senators and congressmen praised the centuries-old friendship and special relationship between the United States and Morocco, tracing back to Morocco’s historic recognition of American independence in 1777.
