Morocco Celebrates Cultural Achievements at Venice Biennale Under Royal Guidance


Venice: Under HM the King’s impetus, Morocco has achieved significant cultural accomplishments in the service of development, Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch said on Friday. Akhannouch made those remarks during the inauguration of Morocco’s pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition, taking pride in the national project presented at the event, noting that it gives Morocco “outstanding” visibility.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Akhannouch emphasized the high-quality work carried out by Moroccan artisans, highlighting their craftsmanship, which is gaining recognition from international observers. The Moroccan Pavilion, inaugurated under the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, showcases the nation’s commitment to cultural development and international presence.



The pavilion is led by artist Amina Agueznay and curator Meryem Berrada, featuring the ‘As???a’ project that represents Morocco at this prestigious art exhibition. The event in Venice will run until next November, offering a platform for Moroccan culture to shine on the global stage.
