Foreign Minister Participates in Djibouti’s Presidential Inauguration Ceremony


Venice: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, on Saturday, at the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the ceremony took place at the International Conference Center in the Djiboutian capital, attended by several heads of state and government, foreign delegations, representatives of international organizations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Djibouti, and various other notable figures. During the event, Guelleh took the oath of office as President of the Republic of Djibouti for a new five-year term.

On this occasion, Bourita conveyed to Guelleh the warmest congratulations of His Majesty the King, along with His best wishes for the President’s success in his high office, aiming to guide the Djiboutian people towards further progress and prosperity.

eviously sent a congratulatory message to Ismaïl Omar Guelleh on the occasion of his reelection as President of the Republic of Djibouti. In this message, the Sovereign expressed His warm congratulations and sincere wishes for Guelleh’s success in leading the Djiboutian people towards achieving their aspirations for greater progress and prosperity.
