Cairo: Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, has succeeded in building a model based on stability, development and the construction of the future, which has allowed the Kingdom to gain respect at the African level and in the Arab world, said the Egyptian expert in political and strategic affairs, Tarek Al Bardissi.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Al Bardissi highlighted that under King Mohammed VI’s leadership, Morocco has undergone a comprehensive process of development, including investment in human capital, modernization of infrastructure, and strengthening of the economy. This has transformed the Kingdom into a regional hub for the automotive and aeronautical industries, a world-renowned tourist destination, and a logistics platform connecting various continents. This progress is attributed to a foresighted royal vision where development acts as a lever for future building.
Al Bardissi emphasized the Moroccan experience as an example of how enlightened political will can turn challenges into opportunities, highlighting investment in human capital as the foundation of any successful national project. Furthermore, he noted King Mohammed VI’s diplomatic approach, which is characterized by wisdom, efficiency, and a forward-looking vision, positioning Morocco as a leading regional and continental player. This is particularly evident in the strengthening of South-South cooperation and the establishment of economic and development partnerships.
He also pointed out strategic initiatives like the Africa-Atlantic Gas Pipeline project and the Royal Initiative to facilitate Sahel countries’ access to the Atlantic Ocean. These initiatives reflect a strategic vision that transcends geographical borders, aiming to promote integration, stability, and prosperity in Africa. Additionally, Morocco’s role in defending the Palestinian cause, through King Mohammed VI’s chairmanship of the Al-Quds Committee and the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to Arab and humanitarian solidarity.
Regarding internal reforms, Al Bardissi viewed Morocco’s political and societal reforms as part of a strategic vision aimed at consolidating the state of institutions. He noted that the 2011 Constitution was pivotal in anchoring the principles of participation and the rule of law. Furthermore, the reform of the Family Code and the enhancement of women’s roles demonstrate Morocco’s ability to balance authenticity with modernity.
In sports, Al Bardissi mentioned that Morocco’s achievements extend beyond sports to represent a national project focused on planning and investment in human capital. Preparations for the 2030 World Cup reflect the international community’s confidence in Morocco’s organizational capabilities and expertise.
