Rabat: During this meeting, the two sides underlined the solid ties of friendship between Morocco and Paraguay, founded on mutual esteem and fruitful cooperation, expressing their mutual will to strengthen them and open new prospects for partnership in areas of mutual interest, mainly transport and logistics.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, speaking to the press following this meeting, Kayouh stated that the two countries share the will of promoting their cooperation ties, noting that despite the geographical distance, Morocco and Paraguay enjoy tight links of friendship and a converging vision on several issues of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of rail transport and logistics.
The talks provided an opportunity to examine prospects for strengthening connectivity between Casablanca and Asunci³n, as well as ways to support Paraguayan skills training in the aviation, piloting, and logistics sectors, he continued, expressing the Kingdom’s willingness to share its expertise and experience in these areas.
For his part, Lezcano praised the level of cooperation between the two countries and the great momentum Morocco is experiencing in the areas of infrastructure, transport, and logistics, while commending the efforts made by the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to develop these sectors and enhance the attractiveness of the national economy.
After emphasizing that Paraguay shares with Morocco the same ambition to develop transport networks and improve the mobility of citizens within cities and between regions, he expressed his country’s willingness to benefit from Morocco’s experience, noting that the Kingdom ‘is a model to follow at the regional and international levels in this area.’
