Rabat: Morocco’s national taekwondo team earned 9 medals, including 3 gold, at the 6th President’s Cup of the International Taekwondo Federation G3 (WTF) held on April 25-27 in Addis Ababa.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, a silver and five bronze medals were also added to the tally at the Cup, which was attended by 44 countries from different continents. Farah Touzani (-49kg), Oumaima Boumah (-73kg), and Oumaima Boucheta (-53kg) won the three gold medals, while Meriem Khoulal took silver in the (-57 kg) category.

Bronze medals went to Nezha Assal (-49 kg), Khadija Lemdardar (-73 kg), Haytam Zarghouti (-80 kg), Ahmed Rahali (-87 kg), and Zakaria Lakouir (87 kg).
