Morocco Takes Part in AU’s 52nd Ordinary Session of Permanent Representatives’ Committee


Addis ababa: Morocco participated in the 52nd Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) of the African Union, which commenced on Wednesday at the headquarters of the pan-African organization in Addis Ababa. The Kingdom is represented at the session by a delegation led by Mohamed Arrouchi, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the AU and UNECA.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the session aims to examine preparations for the 8th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting between the African Union, Regional Economic Communities, and Regional Mechanisms. This meeting is scheduled to take place from June 24 to 27 in Egypt. Additionally, the session will address the upcoming AU Executive Council meeting, also set to occur in Egypt during the same period, focusing on the financing of the pan-African organization.
