Rabat: Eid Al Fitr 1447 A.H. will be celebrated in Morocco tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2026, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs on Thursday evening announced.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the ministry confirmed that it had sighted the crescent moon after the Al Maghrib prayer on Thursday, the 29th of Ramadan 1447 A.H., corresponding to March 19, 2026. This sighting marks the beginning of the month of Shaoual 1447 H.

The Ministry declared that the first day of Shaoual 1447 H, Eid Al-Fitr, will be observed tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2026.

May God, in this blessed month, bestow His blessings upon His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God assist Him, and may He grant the same blessings to HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the esteemed Royal Family.
