Morocco’s Central Bank Keeps Key Rate Unchanged at 3%.

The Board of Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM), meeting on Tuesday in Rabat, decided to keep the key rate unchanged at 3%.

"In view of the high level of uncertainty linked to the evolution of the international economic situation and the national context in the aftermath of the earthquake, the Board has decided to maintain the key rate unchanged at 3%," the central bank said in a press release issued at the end of the third quarterly meeting of its Board for the year 2023.
