New york: Morocco’s Foreign Minister held a meeting with the President of the United Nations General Assembly during the 80th session of the General Assembly in New York. The discussion highlighted Morocco’s contributions to the United Nations, particularly its ongoing support for the Office of the President of the General Assembly and its role as co-facilitator of the Political Declaration of the World Social Summit.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the talks also covered proposed reforms under the UN80 Initiative and the selection process for the next UN Secretary-General. Additionally, Mr. Bourita and Ms. Baerbock discussed regional cooperation and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.
