Rabat: Morocco’s Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST) Abdellatif Hammouchi chaired on Tuesday in Rabat the ceremony to award Royal Wissams, which His Majesty King Mohammed VI graciously bestowed upon executives and officials of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, these Royal Wissams were awarded to 139 women and men civil servants of various grades and ranks in recognition of their dedication to safeguarding the security of the homeland and its citizens.
On this occasion, Hammouchi said that this High Royal Distinction is a recognition of the remarkable sacrifices throughout the professional careers of the recipients, as well as a symbol of esteem for their unwavering commitment to serving the Nation’s constants and higher interests.
Hammouchi also congratulated the decorated officials, a source of personal pride and professional satisfaction, urging them to further carry out their noble mission with
dedication, that of protecting the national territory against any danger or threat to the safety of people and property.
The presentation of the Royal Wissams took place during a ceremony at the DGST, chaired by Hammouchi and attended by several central and regional security officials.
