Morocco’s Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza Stand Out Under HM King Mohammed VI’s Leadership

Rabat: The uniqueness of Morocco’s humanitarian operation in Gaza, driven by His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s leadership and stature, has garnered international attention.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, a professor of law at Paris-Cit© University emphasized the significance of the recognition expressed by the Palestinian Authority in response to Morocco’s Royal solidarity. This acknowledgment serves as compelling evidence of the Palestinians’ highly positive perception of Morocco’s steadfast support for their legitimate cause.

The situation for Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip remains deeply concerning, yet Morocco has managed to deliver aid directly to the local population, a feat that distinguishes it from other countries that often resort to random airdrops. This initiative exemplifies the ongoing support and tangible solidarity of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, towards the Palestinian people. The Sovereign has issued directives for additional humanitarian aid to be dispatched to Gaza.

The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates released a statement detailing the aid package, which includes 100 tons of food and medicine, specifically targeting vulnerable groups, particularly children and infants. The Sovereign has mandated that this aid, as with previous efforts, be transported by air and delivered urgently and directly to those in need.
