Marrakech: Under the foresighted leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the al-Quds Committee, Morocco plays a ‘key role’ in supporting the Palestinian cause, said Hassan Faraj, a member of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), on Saturday in Marrakech.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Faraj expressed high appreciation for Morocco’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. His remarks were made during a press statement on the sidelines of the 3rd International Forum of Young Socialist and Social Democratic Parliamentarians, which took place in Marrakech from May 2-3.

Faraj highlighted that Morocco’s support is a crucial component of the Kingdom’s broader commitment to various Arab and African causes. He underscored the ‘important, central and essential role’ that Morocco plays in regional and international diplomacy, contributing to global stability and peace.

Additionally, Faraj pointed out that the International Forum of Young Socialist and Social Democratic Parliamentarians serves as a ‘privileged space for exchanging ideas and points of view.’ He emphasized the forum’s potential to develop a vision capable of establishing ‘a free world based on stability, justice, peace and security.’
