Rabat: In a statement to MAP on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day, Ndongou highlighted that since His Majesty the King’s accession to the Throne, Morocco has undergone extensive development and achieved significant milestones. The Sovereign has implemented an ambitious policy of structural reforms aimed at positioning the Kingdom as a key regional, continental, and international player.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Morocco’s progress under HM the King’s leadership is particularly noticeable in various sectors, including economic, agricultural, energy, social, sports, and cultural domains, as well as infrastructure. The country boasts modern rail, road, and port infrastructure, which is among the best in Africa. The modernization of the rail network, especially the high-speed line, is a notable achievement as it is the first of its kind on the continent.
Ndongou, a Gabonese official, emphasized the significance of the Tanger Med Port as an example of Morocco’s advancement. The port is recog
nized as one of the best port infrastructures globally and serves as a vital logistics hub that fosters cooperation among African countries in the port sector.
He further commended the pioneering royal initiatives for Africa’s development, such as the Royal Initiative to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean and the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline Project. These initiatives underscore the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to promoting stability, progress, and prosperity across Africa.
