Zabiri scored twice in the first half, leading his team to a decisive 2-0 triumph over Argentina, who are six-time world champions and were considered favorites before the tournament.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Kenyan media platform analyzed the intense match, emphasizing the strong offense from both teams. The opening goal was scored as early as the 12th minute when Zabiri netted a spectacular free kick.
Shortly thereafter, Othmane Maamma provided an accurate cross, which Zabiri successfully converted into Morocco’s second goal. Despite Argentina dominating possession in the closing minutes, they were unable to overcome the formidable defense led by goalkeeper Ibrahim Gomis, the outlet noted.
