Sky News Arabia Sees Mohammed VI Football Academy as ‘Breeding Ground for Champions’

Rabat: This football momentum is the result of a scientific approach adopted by Morocco, based on the identification, training, and development of young talents through the Mohammed VI Football Academy, which it describes as a true “breeding ground for champions” and a “driving force” behind the country’s football development, the outlet explains.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the site also noted that after reaching the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, the Moroccan national team went on to win the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, before adding to its list of achievements the U-20 World Cup title in 2025 in Chile.

In this regard, the website recalled that the Mohammed VI Football Academy, established under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, hosts around fifty young athletes aged 13 to 18, who benefit from an integrated framework combining academic education with football training.
