NSSA CEO, a member in high supervisory committee of New Space Horizon in Africa and the Middle East conference

National Space Science Authority (NSSA) announced that its CEO, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, has been chosen as a member in the higher supervisory committee for the (New Space Horizon in Africa and the Middle East) conference.

Dr. Al Aseeri has been chosen for his contributions in the space sector, and his role in serving the space sector on local, regional and international levels.

His diverse set of expertise and broad international relations, shall contribute to enhancing the work of the supervisory committee and support joint Arab action.

The conference is organised by the Egyptian Space Agency (EGSA) during October 31-November 2 in the Egyptian Space City.

It is considered the first conference specialized in the field of space, with a focus on Africa and the Middle East, as Arab and African space activities have witnessed remarkable growth over the past decade.

The conference will discuss topics of interest to the space sector in the Middle East and Africa, which include space-based technology, space science challenges, space applications and their uses, space policies and sector governance.

It will also review topics that support international efforts to ensure the sustainability of space and enable everyone to benefit from it.
