The total number of building licenses issued in the second quarter of 2023 decreased by 5% compared with the first quarter of 2023 and decreased by 8% compared with the second quarter of 2022, where the number of new building licenses decreased by 10% compared with the first quarter of 2023 and decreased by 6% compared with the second quarter of 2022, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). A total of 2,395 building licenses were issued in the second quarter of 2023, of which 1,467 are new buildings, said the PCBS. The number of new dwellings in the second quarter of 2023 increased by 5% compared with the first quarter of 2023 and increased by 1% compared with the second quarter of 2022.
