These personalities praised the support and funding by the Agency of the campaign “Aouna 2022” as part of the olive harvest season for this year, which ended Sunday after covering for a week of areas within the Holy City and elsewhere, and in which participated farmers and volunteers recruited by the Agency to help in the olive harvest.

In this sense, the deputy governor of Al-Quds, Abdullah Seyam, expressed his thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for His continuous efforts to support the Maqdissis in general and the farmers in particular in their struggle to preserve their land.

The support that Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency has provided during the harvest season meets the needs of the Maqdissi farmer and reflects the ties of affection and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and Palestine and between the peoples of the two countries, Mr. Seyam noted, noting that this campaign demonstrates the attachment of the Maqdissi citizen to his land threatened by the measures of colonialism and despoilment aimed at besieging and isolating the city of Al-Quds.

For his part, the President of the municipality of Hizma expressed his gratitude to Morocco, King, government and people, for this generous donation as well as for the continued support of the Palestinian citizen, noting that the Kingdom of Morocco assumes an honorable role and is always present on the ground.

In the same line, the agricultural engineer, Jameel Hamadin, welcomed the support provided by the Agency for the benefit of the Maqdissi farmer by providing tools and equipment to many farmers in several areas of the governorate of Al-Quds to help them in the operation of the harvest.

For his part, the coordinator of the Agency’s projects and programs in the Holy City, Ismael Ramli, explained that this initiative is part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts in protecting Al-Quds and supporting the resistance of its inhabitants.

By supporting this campaign, the Agency brings a new aspect to its action and presence on the ground in Al-Quds under the aegis of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The campaign, which is part of the program to support the active categories in the Holy City, benefited more than 1,700 Maqdissi farmers spread over 4 areas in coordination with the governorate of the city.

The farmers have received 25 electric machines for olive harvesting equipped with batteries, a number of ladders and nets for collecting olives, as well as bags to transport the harvest.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to protect Al-Quds and support its inhabitants.
