Palestinian PM Lauds HM the King’s Steadfast Support for Palestinian Cause


Seville: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh expressed his gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI for His unwavering support for the Palestinian people. Shtayyeh conveyed his appreciation on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian community following discussions with Morocco’s Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch. These discussions occurred during the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development, held from June 30 to July 3 in Seville, southern Spain.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the talks provided an opportunity for Shtayyeh to express gratitude towards the Moroccan government and its citizens for their continued efforts on behalf of the Holy City and the Kingdom’s commitment to addressing the situation in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the necessity of alleviating the suffering of Gaza’s residents to pave the way for reconstruction and highlighted the need to revive the political process based on a two-state solution, aiming to establish an independent state with East Al-Quds as its capital.



The Moroccan delegation attending the International Conference on Financing for Development was led by Aziz Akhannouch and included notable members such as Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN Omar Hilale, and the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Spain Karima Benyaich.
