Palestinian resident shot and injured at the hands of a colonist near Hebron

HEBRON: A Palestinian resident was shot and injured tonight at the hands of an Israeli colonist in the town of As-Samu, south of Hebron. WAFA correspondent reported that a colonist fired live bullets at resident Mohammad Musallam Abu al-Kabbash, 25, while he was herding his sheep in the said town, resulting in a shoulder injury. He was transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital, and his condition was described as stable. In a related context, Israeli military vehicles raided an area in the town of As-Samu, deployed their troops on the roads, hindering the movement of citizens, and raided and searched several homes, amid the heavy firing of tear gas bombs and stun grenades. No injuries were reported. The occupation forces also deployed their troops throughout the roads, smashed the windows of several citizens' vehicles, and seized surveillance camera recordings from several homes.
