Rabat: The party’s political bureau emphasized that this resolution stands as a triumph for justice and the truths of history, legality, and legitimacy, noting that these decisive developments undoubtedly constitute a radical change and a turning point in the long process of the Moroccan people’s struggle to complete and enshrine their territorial integrity, sacrificing decades of its most precious assets and facing all difficulties, maneuvers, and adversities with confidence, patriotism, and determination.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, on this joyful occasion and after this milestone in the history of modern Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in His Speech, shared with the Moroccan people, with wisdom and quiet resolve, this historic achievement, after fifty years of struggle, combat, and immense sacrifices in the service of the just and legitimate national cause.

In this regard, the PPS commends the pioneering and forward-thinking role played by the Sovereign in steering national diplomacy since His accession to the Throne. This leadership has brought about fundamental changes in handling artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara since the proposal in 2007 of the autonomy initiative within the framework of Moroccan sovereignty – a proposal that shifted the balance of power in favor of the Kingdom and helped it to assume initiative and action on the international stage.
