President Mahmoud Abbas has strongly condemned the crime committed earlier today by some racists in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, by desecrating a copy of the Holy Quran. Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, expressed denunciation and deep disgust on behalf of the President over “this racist crime that would fuel sentiments of hatred between peoples and nations.” Abu Rudeineh called for promoting the language of tolerance and dialogue instead of hatred and racism that risk igniting devastating religious wars.
