President’s Advisor receives credentials of Non-Resident Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Palestine

Advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas for Diplomatic Affairs, Majdi Al-Khalidi, received today a copy of the credentials of Ambassador Nayef Al-Sudairi as Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and as Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Palestine. The copy of the credentials were handed over by Ambassador Nayef Al-Sudairi to the President's Advisor Majdi al-Khalidi at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Jordan. The original credentials will be handed over to President Mahmoud Abbas as soon as possible. Al-Khalidi said the appointment of a non-resident Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Palestine 'is an important step that will contribute to further strengthening the strong brotherly relations that bind the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.' He expressed appreciation on behalf of the people and leadership Palestine for the firm stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the Palestinian people, and its permanent support for the Palestinian cause in all international forums.
