Manama: Under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa, the Captain of Al Fursan Team, the Qualifying Riders Dressage Competition was successfully held, organized by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) at the Military Sports Association’s field in Al Raffa. The event witnessed significant participation from riders and stables, demonstrating high levels of control and skill, indicative of the sport’s increasing prominence and the advanced capabilities of Bahrain’s riders.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the competition was divided into various levels. In the Introductory Level for Adults, Adham Najah on Golden Girl secured first place with 69.167 points, closely followed by Yousef Ahmed on Night Fire with 68.333 points. The third place was a tie between Rawaan Al Ansari on Gandhi D and Salah Sind on Espomi Cien.
In the Introductory Level for Juniors, Reema Al Jahrami claimed first position on Turkzinka with 68.333 points, while Dalal Hashem on ES Dor came
second with 67.083 points. Muneera Bukamal, also on ES Dor, achieved third place with 66.250 points.
The Preliminary Level saw Mahmood Ghazwan on Puma Sin taking first place with 71.034 points, followed by Martin Van on Gero with 68.276 points. Ali Ghazwan on Panadero Cien finished third with 67.586 points. In the junior category, Emma Nyland topped the Preliminary Level on Mahir with 66.724 points, followed by Reema Al Jahrami on Turkzinka and Hanan Al Mahmeed on Gointon HS.
In the Beginner Level, Naziya Al Amari scored 65.690 on Bolero RF to take the top spot, followed by Mohamed Al Omari on Puma Sin and Maria Germanova on Arco. Maria Germanova also excelled in the Novice competition, securing first place on Arco with 68.983 points, with Martin Van on Gero and Redha Munfaridi on Navarro CAV following closely.
At the Advanced Medium Level, Megan Black on Lionel achieved first place with a score of 72.98, followed by Mohamed Al Maabad on Neumantion and Abdulredha Al Afoo on Limited Edition. The event concl
uded with the distribution of awards to the top winners.
The next competition will take place on December 6-7, featuring another Qualifying Riders Dressage Competition along with the FEI Global Dressage Challenge.
