Rabat: National team head coach Walid Regragui stated on Saturday that Morocco is just one step away from winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) title against Senegal, a team he considers to be one of Africa’s best.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Regragui communicated at the pre-final press conference ahead of Sunday’s match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium that Senegal has experience in AFCON finals, having participated in four. He expressed hope that Morocco will rise to the challenge and make history.
