Rider Ghali Chaoui Wins FAR Prize at Royal Guard 4-Star Show Jumping


Rabat: Rider Ghali Chaoui won on Saturday at the Hassan II Arena of the Royal Guard in Méchouar, Rabat, the Royal Armed Forces Prize, part of the Royal Guard’s official 4-star show jumping competition, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, riding “ESPERENZO,” Ghali Chaoui of the Casablanca Etrier prevailed in a jump-off in 42.74 seconds without a single penalty. He finished ahead of Mohammed Azoum on “CACOTA” (55.01/1 pt).

As for the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Sports Federation (FRMSE) Prize, the final victory went to French rider Florent Jeannin, riding “ELLA DU LYS” (61.16/0 pts), ahead of Majid Djaidi on “EXPERT PREVOTEE” (69.94/0 pts) and Yassi Arbain on “GRAMYCO SITTE” (74.41/0 pts).

For his part, Alami Mohamed Benharbet on “CREME CARAMEL Z” won the Cavalry Inspection Prize, contested in two rounds, with a time of 26.38 seconds and no faults. He was followed by Farid A
manzar on “ISLAY O’BURET” and Majid Djaidi on “RADCLIFF JB”.

This competition, held until April 5, features the most prominent riders from national equestrian clubs affiliated with the FRMSE.

This sporting event features 13 races, the highlight of which will be the prestigious Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, scheduled for Sunday, April 5.
