Rabat:President of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) party Mohamed Chouki described the meeting held on Wednesday with Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, the head of government-designate, as a significant opportunity to discuss the challenges and future prospects of the new government phase.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Chouki noted that the discussions with El Mansouri were carried out with “clarity and candor” as part of her consultations with political parties to form the new government. He emphasized the RNI’s commitment to acting as a “responsible party” by consistently prioritizing the supreme interest of the nation.
Chouki also expressed his party’s pride in the appointment of El Mansouri by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlighting it as “a historic moment” in Morocco’s political history, as she is the first woman to be appointed as head of government.
During the meeting, the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) was represented by Abdellatif Ouahbi, Fouzi Lekjaa, and Ahmed Akhchichine, while Rachid Talbi Alami and Mohamed Boussaid attended on behalf of the RNI.
