Jakarta:The speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to members of the two Houses of Parliament marked the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the 12th Legislature. The King emphasized that Morocco’s aspiration to sustain its development process demands a comprehensive mobilization. This involves linking economic growth with the enhancement of citizens’ living conditions and ensuring territorial justice.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, The address underscored the significance of direct action and engagement with citizens, with particular attention to youth-related issues. Mohamed Ould Errachid, Speaker of the House of Councillors, highlighted that the Royal Speech conveyed several crucial messages, including the need for continued legislative and oversight activities and improved coordination between institutions.
