Rabat: The General Workers’ Union (UGTM) has expressed its pride in the recent Security Council resolution concerning the Moroccan Sahara, highlighting the union’s unwavering support for the leadership of His Majesty the King in defending the nation’s cause. The union emphasized its commitment to remaining mobilized behind the Sovereign amidst ongoing developments.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the UGTM praised the contents of a speech delivered by His Majesty the King following the adoption of the United Nations resolution. The union highlighted that the Royal Speech exemplifies the wisdom and balanced approach of the Sovereign regarding the national cause, a stance that has been consistent since His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

The UGTM described the speech as historic, serving as a Royal roadmap for future management steps. It noted that Morocco is transitioning from merely managing the artificial dispute to a new phase that demands change in the situation.
