Israeli settlers today assaulted a Palestinian youth in Masafer Yatta in the south of the West Bank, according to activist Usama Makhamreh. He said settlers assaulted the youth in Umm Laikhous in Masafer Yatta causing him bruises all over his body. The youth was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Israeli government-sanctioned settlers’ violence against Palestinians in the occupied territories has been on the rise without any one being held accountable.
