Settlers destroy agricultural crops in Beit Ummar in the south of the West Bank

Israeli settlers today destroyed agricultural crops in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to a local activist. Mohammad Awad, an activist, told WAFA that settlers from Karmi Tzur settlement, built illegally on Beit Ummar lands, destroyed the crops in five dunums of land planted with wheat located in an area near the illegal settlement and owned by the farmer Samir Salibi. Salibit said the settlers sprayed his wheat crops with toxic pesticides, which led to ruining his entire crop. He said the occupation forces and the settlement security had prevented him from harvesting or grazing his wheat crop, and forced him and those with him to leave the area.
