HEBRON: Several Palestinians today suffered from suffocation during confrontations that broke out in the town of Idna, west of Hebron, according to local sources.

Sources said that Israeli occupation forces stationed at the iron gate at the main entrance to the town and closed the gate after opening it only for few hours today, during which the occupation soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards local residents and their vehicles, causing several citizens to suffocate due to inhaling tear gas.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to shut down the sole entrance to the town since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, restricting the movement of about 35,000 Palestinians.
